Greetings to all, I am new here.
*Brian, I will be seeing you speak tomorrow through
my employer and am looking very forward to it.
;-)
I am a professional who works with people on the spectrum
on a daily basis. This was a position I sought out because
of many who I had previously met and had consequently inspired me
not only in my career, but in my personal growth as well.
I continue to want to learn and understand as much as
it is possible for me to do, not only to enhance my career, but also
to strengthen relationships that I already have. I do have a close friend
with Aspergers, along with a nephew, and other friends with family
members on the spectrum.
Thank you for providing this resource Brian. I hope to gain as well
as contribute to something (this) that I believe is quite worthwhile!

Hi Amalia,

Thank you so much for joining us here. I just arrived home from the presentation you spoke of, what did you think?

Hi Brian,It was great! Some very salient points, and I am glad you were able to discuss some things more in depth. I realize that our time was limited, but some things I
really appreciated were the techniques re: communication styles. While I know that these are things that I plan on incorporating (I am the ssw who talked to you at break), I am sure these would be beneficial for many others to use. I will be buying your book, and will most likely be passing info. along to my colleagues and others the best that I can. Many thanks, Brian!

You're very welcome and thanks for passing the info along. Too bad we only had the one day, we barely scratched the surface. Hopefully U-46 will have me back and we can cover more ground.

Hopefully!
